Our Story
Table Manners was created out of a need to bring something new to the table. Literally. Starting off in the Austin, Texas event scene, we've evolved with the city; keeping things fun and funky. In 2023 we headed West and expanded into the Teton Valley and Rocky Mountain Regions. We look forward to bringing transformative tabletops to the area's wedding and event culture while bringing a touch of Southern hospitality.
Our Core Values
-
We cultivate a positive, energetic environment where intelligence meets joy. We approach challenges with confidence, celebrate successes together, and find moments of fun even during demanding times. Our optimism creates contagious enthusiasm that elevates both our team experience and client interactions.
-
We embrace flexibility and adapt seamlessly to changing circumstances. Our team members develop diverse skills, welcome new responsibilities, and support each other across traditional boundaries. This adaptability allows us to respond creatively to challenges while continuously growing professionally.
-
We take personal responsibility for our work, decisions, and outcomes. We lead by authentic example, communicate honestly about both successes and failures, and follow through on commitments. When challenges arise, we focus on solutions rather than blame, building trust through accountability.
We believe in practicing good manners at a table set with stoneware plates, gold and matte black flatware, organic napkins, and geometric hi-balls.
Our point of view is colorful, earthy, lively, and luxurious and we aim to shake things up, throw out tradition and inspire creativity on a whole new level.
-
We envision possibilities beyond conventional boundaries. We challenge the status quo, pursue innovative approaches, and inspire others to think beyond "what is" to "what could be." Our forward-thinking mindset drives continuous improvement and keeps us at the forefront of our industry.
-
We thoughtfully manage all resources entrusted to us—from relationships and ingredients to finances and our environmental impact. We prioritize sustainability, demonstrate respect through our actions, and make decisions that honor our commitment to responsible practices.
-
We deliver excellence in every detail, maintaining professionalism in our appearance, communications, and service execution. We balance urgency with intentionality, ensuring that efficiency never compromises quality. Our polished approach reflects our commitment to creating exceptional experiences.

The Real Story
Table Manners exists because Brooke couldn't find rentals that matched the vision in her head, and JG wasn't afraid to challenge the status quo of "that's how it's always been done." Her lifetime of analyzing literature (and staying up all night in computer labs to write papers) combined with his love for fresh ideas and devil's advocate thinking created the perfect storm of creativity.
What started as "I bet we could do this better" has evolved into a tabletop rental company that serves both Texas and the Rocky Mountains with designs that make people text their friends from the bathroom: "You have GOT to see these tables."
JG thrives in the team environment Table Manners creates—being in the thick of it during a busy season might be tough, but it's where the magic happens. He brings the fun (a non-negotiable in his book) while Brooke brings the vision. Together, they've built a company that reflects their shared belief that honesty, style,, and a healthy dose of friendly shit-talking make for both the best workplace and the best events.
Their approach to Table Manners mirrors their personal philosophy: life's too short for beige events and uninspired gatherings. When not revolutionizing tabletop design, you might find Brooke designing something [anything really] with pathological precision, while JG turns what should be a quick game night into an epic tournament that no one is allowed to leave until the champion is crowned. Somewhere in the background, their team is probably implementing another "wildly impractical new idea" that—somehow—always works out in the end.
